So I'm going to send a vocal track to my buddy so he can analyze what's going on. Sounds a little harsh to me no I'm not redlining anything. But here's my question... I selected, highlighted, a verse clicked on export audio and selected my folder. I hit the button for export and it's just crawling along.
As I recall that future used to work in seconds. There's no effect or anything on this verse.

What do you suppose is wrong? Thanks.

In the Export Audio dialog, is the "Fast Bounce" box checked?   If not, the audio will bounce in real-time meaning it will take the same amount to export as it does for playing the audio.

Related: So is there a difference in Quality between fast bounce and slow bounce?

Only in terms of quality of life...you don't have to sit around for the fast bounce . However, slow bounce is great when you want to listen to it just one last time before bouncing.

One other case: If using an external FX insert, "Fast Bounce" would need to be disabled.  I'm not sure whether SONAR does this automatically or not.  I'll have to try!
