Do you find the hp and lp in the quad curve eq to be complicated?

How do you put the quad curve on track send without affecting the track output?

Sorry, I misread question. I suppose one could get what he desired via side chaining, but that would not be as simple as he desires.

I get the potential uses, I think, but still not what the UI would look like within the small Sends area.  Plus, there have been many requests to show more sends, so increasing the size of the send widget itself seems to counter to that request to some extent.

I guess to do this now you'd have to send tracks to their own "filter bus" before routing them on to the effect return. It's a good idea - after all, sends allow you to control the volume of the signal sent, so why not the frequency range? But I'm not seeing how it would look on the console, unless it was simply a horizontal control with 2 sliders, low pass cutoff at one end and high pass on the other. They would probably have to be simple filters with fixed slopes.

I like this request. The ability to filter off a little bass from a bass drum, while still sending the bass drum to make it sit in a an environment without booming out the reverb.. Sending a snare with all just a little tidying of the bass, and trimming off the the high a little. Having a Hi Hat, but wanting to keep the energy from the bottom end of a foot close, but to exciting the reverb with it, making it more in focus.

With a delay buss, being able to pull out a lot of bottom end from several sends, but allowing an in key instrument to make more use of it's frequency range, making the others sit more on top of the effect.

Just a horizontal bar, with the band pass showing within the bar. scroll to control LP and shift scroll to controll hi pass, or somthing.

I think this is a good idea if they can fit it into the GUI somehow.

A HP/LP filter would be too useful to restrict it to residing within a send. It should be a separate plugin.

As an alternative, maybe the ability to insert an fx chain within a send would be useful. A flyout would be necessary for this.

A nice simple one band fixed slope filter would be golden for me.An HP/LP filter that can be either or.The Blue Tube BX25 I love for this but would like a PC something or other.I like tidy.I get pretty OCD when it comes to my layouts.

Yeah just a simple thin horizontal bar with a handle at each end for the filters is what I would envision for the interface. It would make the aux module a little bit thicker- but there would be an option to turn the filters off for those who don't need it. Could make that option either on a per aux basis or global, or both I guess.

I think the trouble with the horizontal bar idea is that there wouldn't really be enough room on the strip to allow fine control of the cutoff of each filter. A separate knob for each cutoff would work though. They could probably also squeeze in a slope selector.

Flyout on the control (like ProChannel EQ) so it can still reside in the track view without taking up yet more room?
