Do you really stare at it when the projects are loading up?
 
I'm hoping it will come in handy if & when a project won't open. It might give an indication as to what plugin isn't loading properly. Not sure if it operates that way but it would be great if it did.

I glance at it, but don't pay too much attention t I feel sure it will be a great help with projects that have difficulties.

As to the little one-liner? I only look at it when I'm hoping for a laugh! 🎶

Easy enough to ignore, but for those it bothers i can understand wanting an enable choice...

I love it. Before, for some reason, I always had a teeny weeny bit of anxiety that the load might go on forever, signalling a project file irretrievably corrupted.

This "feature" is one of those silly things developers do, just because they can. It serves no real purpose, imo, apart from a bit of eye candy and it gets tired very quickly and just adds one more bit of code to be loaded at boot. So yeah, I agree with the OP

If you don't like it then smother it with peanut butter to block it out. :)

I can feel a feature request coming on.....
