I only really look if something is going wrong. Have to admit that isn’t often these days.

Now if the comments were in an editable list then I could always have it say what I wanted to hear.

It was cute for a while but the little box wishing me luck every start up is getting on my nerves!!! Please, how do I make it go away?

^^^^ This!

This "feature" is one of those silly things developers do, just because they can. It serves no real purpose, imo, apart from a bit of eye candy and it gets tired very quickly and just adds one more bit of code to be loaded at boot. So yeah, I agree with the OP

Good Post. I can't stand it. It looks cheap and gimmicky. How can I get rid? Or am I stuck with it?

We're all waiting for CbB to move forward.
Someone should take the developers in hand and tell them to stop frittering away precious time, theirs and ours.

I don't understand this thread at all. I think it is elegant and useful.

The main purpose of the toasts is to notify the project load status. Its a feature that can be very useful for self help when troubleshooting long project load times or failures to load. We've wanted to add this for a long time.
Most recently this request came from none other than Waves to help them troubleshoot issues!

Even before Noel said his peace, I was okay with the feature and I have no desire to turn it off.

We'll add a way to turn it off for those who really don't like it for whatever reason. The majority of modern apps have a load status today so it will stay as the default. Its not considered good UX to have any operation that can take more than a few seconds have no status updates.

Does the toasts make any log? If so, where location?

No log today - but some others have requested this as well...

I think the objections are referring to the cute one liner message at the end, rather than the actual status update of the project load.

I don’t mind either way, but just clarifying what I believe some people are asking to switch off.
