Hi folks:

So I'm planning on using SONAR as part of some upcoming live performances.  I've put a set list together and would like to have it advance the songs when I press a key.  I'm using recorded audio, not MIDI.  That means it beeps everytime the prompt comes up to advance a song.  I don't want those beeps to play over the PA obviously.  Is there a way to turn them off?  I'm sure there's a button I'm missing somewhere, but damned if I can find it...

Thanx!

Hi Avalongod. What do you mean by beeps? I use the playlist all the time with audio files and wait for keypress but I have never had any beeps.  It's not a windows system sound is it?

Hi Bruce:

Sorry, you're right it is a windows sound.  It's the "you need to do something with this" sound that it does when a window pops open.  I'm sure it's something that can be turned off...just trying to figure out how...thought maybe it could be done in Sonar, but I guess it has to be windows...

Thanx!

ok, never mind, I found it.  Thanx though,...would not have occurred to me to look outside of Sonar for the fix!
