I have gotten my Novation Launch Control to work with ACT Control, being able to assign one parameter of a synth plugin to one physical control on my Launch Control. Is there a way I can assign two parameters to one physical control so I can manipulate both parameters simultaneously using one knob? If there is, and one of you can explain it to me..I'd be indebted to you.
I'm having a really hard time with AZController, and ACT Control is little easier to understand but I'm still stuck. Thanks in advance.

 
The plugin I am using is FM8, and was wanting to control stuff in the Operator Matrix.

AzController is a little opaque, to be sure, but if you register on the AZSlow forum, I'm certain Aleksy will help you. He did me.

Guys, with no disrespect...please stop just recommending AZController for every MIDI problem. I found a solution with Synth Rack. The problem was that synth rack was hidden under a dropdown menu. I'm sure Alexey's program works, but it's over complicated for a lot of tasks. I had to dig pretty deep to get my solution, it would have been easier without being distracted by AZController and ACT.

I didn't. I replied to your question regarding AZCtrl and ACT and said that you can get the help you need on the AZSlow forums. That's it.

Why would you automatically direct me to the AZslow forum for a MIDI problem that's potentially solved by just using something in Sonar? That's kind of my point. AZslow is literally all over every MIDI post. To me, it's kind of lazy to suggest AZslow right off the bat. I know the dude knows his stuff, but when someone comes here with a problem, they're bombarded with AZController. Again, it's a pain to use for someone that's just wanting to make music and not delve into programming. And Alexey himself shouldn't be obligated to answer every MIDI or ACT post. I never went on the AZslow forums for help. That's the thing. I searched there for how to use the program, but everything was so esoteric, I gave up. Then there was some sort of $40 charge he was offering to explain the program. That turned me off.

You can have you own opinion about me, I respect that.
But spreading false information is not something I am going to tolerate. I pay for my site so visitors do not have to observe any ads. I am not charging for anything. My programs can be downloaded without registration.
The only place where I mention $40 is one lengthy post. The first paragraph in that post explains why I mention money. To avoid any possibility for confusion, there is written explicitly and in bold that is a joke.

The full documentation is available on the AZSlow forums...for free. The reason AZCtrl is recommended so much for people wanting to integrate controllers with Sonar is because it works, far better than ACT would alone. Cakewalk doesn't have the resources nor the inclination to build custom controller templates for every new controller that comes to market. They built ACT as a generic template, but it only goes so far. AzCtrl take it much, much further. You don't have to use it.

If Cakewalk wants Sonar to remain viable, it really needs to start improving or implementing better features for EDM music makers. I don't understand how a company that is a subsidiary of Gibson does not have the resources to do this.
