EDIT: This isn't a feature request, so it's not about voting. I've emailed both suppliers, to request their consideration. So please if you like the idea, take a moment to do the same. Also I've not logged under 'Software' as it's more about the ProChannel aspect for me, and that's Sonar. I don't know what work the Cake Management in this field, but I hope the thread stimulate some ideas or activity (I'm not accusing them of doing nothing, before anyone jumps on me for that).

We currently get ProChannels from:
Cake
Softube
Overloud
Boz
Looking at the XLN (And being XLN already have a relationship with Cake) Transient Designer yerday, I thought that could be a Prochannel, maybe with a flyout option if you need to to see the dynamics display.

I emailed them the suggestion.

Does anyone else feel the same about certain suppliers that have some devices that would easily jump on the ProChannel train?
(I've seen one before, but their name escapes me)

Found it, Plug and Mix, someone posted about their stuff being perfect for the ProChannel, they look like pro channel already, how hard could a conversion be and and instantly more appeal from a group of buyers.

Looks like they'd fit well. I don't know the actual size of the plugs though

If they'd do that I'd buy the whole thing in a heartbeat

If cakewalk did a deal with them so they were only in PC format, maybe they could arrange a better  deal from them, than the 40 for $250

It would double the number of Pro Channels in one go.

And that's only naming a few

But I would like some more Pro Channels myself (not necessarily the ones mentioned) , so +1 from me.
All the best.

Who would you like to provide pro channels?

I'm not saying I want the P&M stuff, but it's just looks so obviously suited. I would pick up some of the things (Unless a udle was a great offer). For new Sonar users though, it would instantly expand their options, and they are easy to use.

I agree they look like they could fit.
I do not have specific plugin producers in mind, but would like an extended PC family, including delays, more eq's, comps (CA3A?), filters etc.
(Maybe even done in house?)
All the best.

You should understand that to the outside world we are a bunch of wayward individuals with a cakewalk cute playpen called the "ProChannel".

Don't expect too much more than a wry grin as they ignore you.
Cake made deals with various plug makers to bring plugs to the ProChannel.
