I'm not the first to have emailed P&G, so I'm not expecting action, but just trying to increase the possibility. These are now stock items from them, some of them a few years old. The Bundle price has come down over the years. I figure that being they are all the same format, that converting to a PC would just be a case of making the same edits 40 times. With so many options out their now, then converting may be money for old rope.

XLN reply, but I'm not expecting results either.

If a few people email though, it may be enough to have a look into.

You should understand that to the outside world we are a bunch of wayward individuals with a cakewalk cute playpen called the "ProChannel".

Don't expect too much more than a wry grin as they ignore you.
Cake made deals with various plug makers to bring plugs to the ProChannel.

You never know...lifetime updates, lots of new users, and in-app purchases could be influencers.

I can't imagine any plugin manufacturer not wanting to find more channels (pun intended) for selling their product to the limited number of DAW users, especially if the Bakers help them do the conversion in conjunction with a bundling/reselling agreement.

What was I thinking?

Ca2A, Concrete Limiter and PC4K S-type Expander / gate was "in-app" purchases.
I would like to see more of them, as paid add ons or (preferably) free.
All the best.

Klanghelm's VU-Meter as a ProChannel module would be really great.
And most probably quite affordable...

I've stated repeatedly that BOTH Cake and Vendors were missing HUGE opportunity...

It fell on deaf ears...as we are still here with almost the exact same number of
PC Modules as we had right after it's introduction...

A testament to Cakes market share I guess...

I am all for Sonar exclusive plugins, but I HATE Pro Channel. I want one way of using VST's. I don't want to have to open Pro Channel to see if there are "hidden" VSTs. I don't want my console strips to double in size when I open Pro Channel. It frustrates me to no end to be forced to learn two ways of entering/editing VSTs. Please find another way to keep VSTs proprietary.

There's going to be big changes in the future. Now that Cake has opened the door with lifetime updates the whole business will change. Plugins and other processing tools will be paid add-on's. I'm sure that development of these value adding products is in the pipeline. It has to be because they need the revenue stream.

Having said that, if they go to in-app purchases I'm done. I expect that from a free phone game, not professional software for a business.
