They are offering special crossgrade pricing for SONAR users of $195 until December 21st.
I had forgotten that Digital Performer was available on the Windows platform so this is a great option.

I am wanting to use SONAR as long as possible while educating myself on the other DAW platforms. As I have said many times before the more I look into other DAWs the more reasons I find why I love SONAR so much. Here is still holding out hope for a positive outcome.

Still unexpected good news as I would have payed the $395 price if all went well with the demo.

Just a heads up, no vst 3 support as of yet for digital performer... hopefully that will change at some point though

I'm going to gripe about DP. I demoed DP8 a few years ago (didn't like that version) and would love to demo DP9. BUT since I demoed DP8 the DP9 thinks I've used up my demo period for it. Seriously. I do not want to have to email support to get a demo running.

I tried checking into that, but couldn't figure out how to get DP with the mag. Of course, not knowing German didn't help. But I saw no mention anywhere of DP.
