Hi,
I hope someone can help me. I'm having trouble opening up Cakewalk BL since the new update. A message says there is no audio device for the current driver model on my system. I click O.K Then it opens with the error Silent buses detected. "MASTER" I click O.K. so I go to preferences and the inputs are chosen correctly , so I have to choose the outputs , apply, and get an error : Following drivers do not support the current audio format or are in use by another application. I click "Use anyway". the message keeps coming up and nothing happens so I finally click disable. It keep s popping up so I try to get it to go away by x ing out. It just keeps popping up and I can't get anywhere. My interface is a Focusrite Scarlett 18i6. anyone else experiencing this? I had no problems previous to this update. BTW Sonar Platinum is working O.K.  It's a bit strange.

Thanks
Brad

Have you selected the same driver mode that you were using in SONAR Platinum?
Which driver mode are you using? ASIO or WASAPI?

Compare setting with SONAR and copy the sames ones to CBB.  YOu can have them both uo togetgher but may have some midi conflicts but easy to to do for comparisons

I got the same message, I just closed down Cakewalk, unplugged the USB cable on my AI and then plugged it back in then restarted Cakewalk and problem gone.

Hi Brad

I GET THE SAME THING.

WHAT IS THE ANSWER???

Is It the answer next down. NO!. Simply unplugging and replugging the focusrite does not work for me.
Cubase no problem and I tried my old Mixcraft, No problem

That flashing screen is annoying me and yes, keep clicking It and It does not go away.
I had to use the task manager to get rid of Bandlab.

all the best

Hi
In the preferences I have my focusrite asio drivers all ticked and applied.

When I come out of that the flickering screen comes up and I have tried to read it and after some strobe flashing and concentrating It Said             using low latency driver  and something about change and 96000 sps whatever that means .
It was hard to read a quick flashing screen
Sonar Platinum does the same as well now

My Cubase works 100% and is great with my Genos.
The thing Is there is a lot of useful stuff in Sonar that i paid for .

This has all started recently

Hi
It Is ok people saying I am ok , but does not solve mine or Brads problem.
Yes,  I do use the same driver setup as Sonar Platinum ,but that is messed up the same now without touching it.
Something has been fiddled with by these updates ,it Is clear as daylight as Cubase and mixcraft work flawlessly.

all the best

"Low Latency Driver" sounds like the default driver installed with Cubase. This could be a problem and is not necessary when using an interface with a factory supplied driver. Uninstall this driver and use the factory supplied one.
