Roo StercogburnI've found the best way to work around Delete Hole failing is to just delete the section of a song without attempting to slide anything. Afterwards, I then manually select everything after the hole and drag it forward until it touches the start of where the hole began. Its not perfect, automation is a pain, but its better than the project going out of sync with itself. Not sure about the OP's original question though. The only way I could think to do it would be to select everything in the midi track from that point forward and slide it very carefully to the left to the point where I wanted everything moved. In theory CTRL+ Leftclick would allow me to select multiple midi tracks as many times as needed but its a lot of manual shifting and possiby fraught with the potential for mistakes.
