I'm using the star multi tool and holding down the control key on standard .wav rendered audio clips...this is frustrating and wierd...I know it used to work! -S

What it does when I press the CTRL key hovering over the clip the cursor changes to the "BOX" to slide the in or out point and the edge of the clip turns blue. When I press either CTRL key the blue line just goes away and when I move the in or out point it just erases the audio that was in the clip...it does not "STRETCH" the clip... :(

Try this:

1. Bounce the clip to itself.
2. Hover the cursor over the middle of the right edge of the clip. The cursor should turn into the "box" icon, and the right edge of the clip should have a blue line.
3. Now press the Ctrl key. Does the line turn from blue to yellow?

i just tried the above 3 step process & i got the box icon but the edge of the clip did not become blue & wouldn't turn yellow when i press the ctrl key.  time did not stretch, only the length of the clip (with a blank flat line).  maybe i have the wrong tool selected? i was using the "smart" tool.  is that right?

See page 11 of the ezine that comes with the August 2016 Sonar update.

"To time-stretch a Clip or Take, you now need to hold both Ctrl+Shift instead of only Ctrl when click+dragging on a Clip or Take edge to stretch."
