I used to have Kontakt 5 10 years ago, but the player often had problems on my system using Sonar, which I think was version 7. Anyone using the free Kontakt player?

no, you need the full version of kontakt to play other stuff - why not just use dimpro or the garritan player? less likely to hit issues than trying to play them with a different player
