Very helpful, if for no other reason than solving the "Alternative Text #2" mystery

Kamikaze, I have a suggestion...that this thread contain only posts similar to yours describing which colors correspond to which names. Then it can be periodically "compacted," e.g., remove the "thanks, cool" posts so there are only informational posts.

I've been doing this with Friday's Tip of the Week, deleting posts periodically but also incorporating subsequent comments(with attribution) that were made about a tip inside the tip itself.

Global > Alternative Color #1 is the text foreground color for 32bit plug-ins in the browser
I set it to match the color of the 32bit icons in the "Plug-in Tree" image in Browser > Plug-in Browser positions 12, 13, 16 and 17 and the appropriate Browser > Plug-in Browser > Plugin Types icons.

Alternative Text#2 isn't so much a mystery, than pain the arse. Along with, but to a lesser degree Focused track text not being used for just 'Track Text'. The more I look, the more oddities I find, stuff not doing what it should, stuff not doing anything.

Unfortunately I think these are simple things to sort, but communicating with cake simple fixes to the graphics team seems as hopeless as all other communication really. I would have hoped with releasing this, there would have been some initial back and fourth about some of this stuff. I tried to create positive constructive threads on this, and in the end the development people latch on to my my jokey thread about Theme Editor anonymous. No feed back or response on the other issue as the fall into the black hole that is this forum's so called feed back and feature request mechanism.

I don't think there is a "graphics team" working on this. AFAIK the Theme Editor developer is one person over in the UK and if he hasn't seen your threads, he won't comment.

What we need is a centralized place where any oddities are consolidated in individual, bullet point-type sentences so they can't get lost in "forum noise." Then the Theme developer could just set aside a few days (or weeks or whatever) and go down the list.

I hope the Feedback Portal will help with this kind of situation. I assume that if entries are tagged, Cakewalk will be able to generate a list similar to what I'm describing above regarding specific topics.

Yeah well reason is rubbish. Being that the support team ore over whelmed, here would be the place where the initial feedback would occur, instead of just dropping it for us to beta and run, it's obvious stuff would come up, especially in the first month.

I saw the video, so I know the guy your referring to. I only said graphics team as to make it clear I'm aware it's not the same team that do the other work.

What's the point of writing stuff in bullet points like I did, if no one reads it, and then they chip in on thread which was meant to be Forum Noise. Forum Noise or no noise.

So many posters have asked where you can edit the performance meter colour, which you can't.

Click on Help in Sonar, and there's an option to take you to the forum. We lighten there load, but logging stuff that gets ignored doesn't lighten ours. Completely disillusioned with Feature request and Problem reporting, and so many people say they not had responses to things they've emailed. It's more than the Support lines that not working here.

I will be glad to remove my post if it will make you feel better.
