It's insulting to see reviews of products riding on a software update as if that's valuable content we've all been waiting for. If the ezine seems too sparse, so be it. Don't pad it with things we can just google if we need to. I'd even understand outright Gison or Cakewalk pandering of products but lookie at this?

I don't get the "insulting" part. The reviews and other features, like Anatomy of a SONAR Project, Surfboard, Blog Beat, Rapture tips, the Top 10 Chart, etc. are intended to make the eZine more than just the usual "release notes." I try to find products that complement SONAR in some way and might therefore be of interest to SONAR users, but you can just ignore them if you want. Also note that the eZine does not accept advertising and is not "pay to play," so companies cannot influence the content of reviews.
However if people don't read them...less work for me
