I bought this on Plugin Boutique which states that Rapture Session is available in VST2 and VST3 formats. However, after failing to detect the VST after installing on Win 7x64 Pro, I checked the Cakewalk page which states it is only available in VST3 format, not VST2.

Is this correct? Is there a VST2 version?

Thanks
Richard

to be fair, the main page only mentions vst3/au/aax

op, you should check your vst install folders to be sure they're in the detection paths

Those are the Mac formats also mentioned on the page I linked.

Ok thanks ...

I was thrown off by the incorrect information on the splash screen. I cannot post a link to this page or upload a screenshot URL as the editor keeps stripping out every attempt to post a link ... So if you type the main domain name then add /Products/Rapture-Session it only lists VST3.

Cakewalk seems to install certain things into folders which are not listed either in the installer or the Download Manager options. Will check those for the missing VST. I thought I had already done this, but when an installer is designed to scatter its files around your HD it can be tricky to locate things.

Cheers
Richard
