Hi 
Any online help documentation called out through Sonar shows up in French.
If i go under "Help" and select "Keyboard Shortcuts" all the documentation is in French
I looked for a long time for a way to set this to English, and I can not find how..

I would be very much surprised if Sonar didn't pick that up from your settings in the Control Panel. Check "Region and Language" (or "Clock, Language and Regions", depending on your Control Panel display preferences) and see what settings you've got under the tabs "Location" and "Keyboards and Languages" > "Display Language".

thanks for the advice, but what is weird is that Sonar is installed in English. Everything is english exept contextual online help... I tried the "google Language Select" tab as proposed by Bob F. This is basically Google Translator translating the French to English and itr is not good at all.

The web-based help display is controlled by OnlineHelpFmt in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cakewalk Music Software\SONAR\Platinum (assuming this is about SONAR Platinum). What is the string in OnlineHelpFmt? Setting lid=3 should force the web help to English.

Thanks for the advice scook!. Only proble is I have absolutely no idea where to find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cakewalk Music Software\SONAR\Platinum in my computer. 
 
I do a search for OnlineHelpFmt and noting shows up. Same thing for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Please be more specific Thank you

If you have absolutely no idea where to find this, then you might not want to be messing with the registry (which is where you'll find it).  Changing the wrong value in there could turn your PC into an expensive brick.

Rather, you might want to get a knowledgeable IT friend to do this for you.....
