Sonar will get to the startup screen but whether I tell it to open an existing project or try to create a new one it crashes. Please help, about to track some demos, and have a serious project starting Monday. Thanks!

Did You check your buffer size? Maybe try to bring it up to 1024.

Hi. Maybe try to Ctrl click while opening SONAR Platinum, and let it re - personalize settings?

Try uninstalling Splat. Then uninstall  X3,  make sure total uninstall of both versions happen. If both versions are listed in the CCC, right click and choose more and find where the files exsist. Then uninstall there. That should clear the installs. Then in the CCC reinstall Splat. Hope this helps

On my Win 7 installation, I have both X3 and Platinum and no conflicts.  Platinum works perfectly.
I would try uninstalling Platinum, restart the PC, and then do a new install of Platinum, using the Command Center.
 

What is splat? I got the Platinum update through a digital download from sweetwater and installed through command center, would I have to go through that all over again?
 
I have since gotten a couple of projects to open and stay open in "safe mode" but it still crashes when I try to open a new project it still crashes.

I have both Sonar X3e and Platinum on my Win 7 64 system with no issues?

I'm running Windows 10 Home, Intel Core i5-4560 CPU  @ 3.20 ghz and only 8 gb ram (will upgrade the ram soon).
My interface is a Focusrite Scarlett 18i8.
