EDIT: I've just realised instead of recolouring, I could have used the knobs from the ProChannel EQ, which are more saturated, and are going to be slight better quality than my edits.I think they are only in large though

The knobs in Tungsten have a ring indicator in an unsaturated colour. I've struggled to affect these using sturation and hue options. So I've re-coloured the knobs so that these hue and saturation have more value and effct. They are not perfect, but pretty good. If anyone has better, please share.

Here are mine if you're interested

Nice work Kam,
Your post inspired me to finally make the time to draw some new knobs for my theme.

How many potions are, I'm guessing 200?
Did you make a rotated view for every one?

Do you have any idea where the "Console View.Knob (Small)" is used?

I changed mine with Theme Editor but have not find them in my Platinum install's GUI.

Thank you.

I use animation software to make the instances.

Bi-polar is in the send, unipolar in the narrow view send.

So your animation software sets the angles for each?

Thanks.

Yes, I use the animator to rotate the knob.

Cheers, Looks like I may have to do a manual rotations. I saw the rings on Autotune today and thought 'ooh, I like that'. Slippery slope

Anderton
Another knobby technique I've used with FX chains is to apply a gradient from the initial knob rotation to the end. For example a knob can get brighter as something gets "louder," or you could have a panpot go from red (left, for port) to green (right, for starboard) as you rotate it.

For an example of how this can be done subtly, check out FX Chains > Anderton Collection > Processors > Graphic EQ. The knobs get more red as you boost, and more blue as you cut. For an over-the-top example that possibly indicates mental issues , load FX Chains > Anderton Collection > Drums > Psychedelic Drums.
