I use a Line 6 tone port with my Sonar LE. I am unable to monitor vocals. Any ideas what I should do? Thanks.

If your toneport wont allow you to feed the vocal mic back into headphones, its not unusual to just take one ear off and listen to your own voice in the room.  Sonar will allow you to monitor the input of a selected channel, however theres a chance you will experience latency.  Back in the day I would just use sonar for reverb while monitoring vocals.  I would insert the reverb plug in on the vocal channel, and turn the mix to 100 % and choose input monitoring so as just to hear the reverb.  Then to play it back I would switch the verb off.

How do I monitor the input of a selected channel? I used to be the Creamware demo guy, but my Windows 98 machine is unreliable. I'm switching to Sonar. This is really the only issue.

Not that I am aware of. I just add the audio track, hit R for record. I've tried lowering the master, lowering the track volume, turning up the headphone level from the toneport. I hear the guitar when I record it. I hear the synth. But I do not hear the vocals the way I am accustomed to in a studio or with Creamware. I got close, but all it takes is one little bad spot, and I have to do it all over again. Maybe the one ear one, one off will work, but it seems to me that that is a workaround and this software certainly must have a way to do this easily. Even the help files don't help. They tell me to look for an output drop-down menu, but I don't find one. It's just the vocals, and it is driving me nuts. Even the guy who initially showed me how to get started with Sonar said he never has been able to get good vocal monitoring and he just gets over it with ear on/ear off. I really appreciate the replies. I just feel like there is a switch or something I don't know about. AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!! Seriously, thanks.

That switch is called input echo, like Ken just told you, lol. Give it a whirl

I'm sorry but the monitoring is done by your hardware. Not Sonar. You can try input echo but unless you have a top end interface with low enough round trip latency you will hear the vocals delayed. 
Most interfaces have direct monitoring to eliminate this. 
It's hardware. You'll get the same latency delay in any DAW you try.
