System specs:
Sonar Platinum
Windows 10
Intel i7 CPU
8GB DRAM
Tons of available hard disk space

Like the subject says, I am getting no audio from Rapture Pro when I click on the onscreen keyboard.

I emailed tech support about this on May 25. On July 25, I received an apologetic email and a 15% off coupon, along with instructions to simply reply to the email if I still needed support, and someone would contact me "as quickly as possible". To date, I have received no further contact regarding this issue.
I sure hope someone on this forum can help.

Thanks!

Is this the stand alone RPro or RPro in SONAR?
Which keyboard, the one in the RPro UI or the virtual keyboard view in SONAR?
Are you trying to use the internal sound chip and not a dedicated audio interface?

Thanks for the quick response! I really appreciate it!

Sonar Platinum comes bundled with RPro, yes? This is my first time trying to use RPro,
so I'm not exactly sure what I'm supposed to do. I launch RPro from the Windows desktop
icon, so I'm assuming it's standalone. I'm not launching SONAR (yet). For now, I simply
want to audition some patches to see if I like RPro.

not a dedicated audio interface.

Thanks again.

The Grim
it doesn't come bundled with rapture pro, i think you get rapture, dimension pro and rapture session (a cut down version of rapture pro) i have them all in purchased separately full versions so am not sure what comes, but that is what i think.

No, RPro is a separate purchase. SONAR Platinum includes Rapture and Rapture Session. I was unaware any of the standalone synths using minihost (which include Rapture, Rapture Session and Rapture Pro) work without an ASIO driver. If this is the case, it would take ASIO4All or similar to present the WDM driver for the integrated chip as ASIO for the stand alone synth to work. Rather than installing ASIO4All, try running the synth in SONAR.

edit: I just checked the RPro/Session documentation starting on page 135, the stand alone does require ASIO.
