Hi,
We are using TH2 and Mark Bass amp sim/fx units on our recording projects. I haven't been using Sonar long so, can someone give me an idiots guide to how I render these effects to the audio clip so that I can switch off the plugin and free up CPU resources?

Cheers
KK

If you have the effect in the ProChannel or track FX bin it's easiest to use "bounce to tracks". If you have it in the audio clip fx bin you can use "bounce to clip". Alternatively, you could simply "freeze" the track so that you can go back later. This will prevent you from adding more fx to that track, or splitting clips etc, but it will allow you to go back to adjust your previous settings with minimal hassle.

Hi, and welcome to this forum. I agree with Sander.
I usually just freeze tracks to free resources.  The freeze button looks like this:

All the best.
