Hi,
A couple of days ago I had the 1803 update and on top of the usual software reactivating and audio drivers reinstall I'm having a weird issue with the Komplete Kontrol plugin that affects Sonar & CbB only.
(The stand alone Komplete Kontrol, Reaper and Samplitude are working properly.)

The keyboard and the transport buttons work but nothing else does.
 
The question is, does anyone have the Komplete Kontrol working properly with Sonar & CbB since the 1803 update ?

Hey, no I have the same issue and I also have Samplitude and it works fine on there. The issue is with Sonar/Cakewalk and I've been in touch with NI about it and after doing the System Tools - yet again - and back and forward clarifying the issue, there was no fix and I was told it's been sent to the developers. 
 
Kontact 5 remains working with regards to the paging/macro dials but as soon as I add Maschine, save and reload the project, the latter hijacks my S88 and I no longer have the pages/macro knobs available in K5 if I select the software....still can play/record, transport etc, just no pages. If I delete Maschine, then it's all good again.

For me, I'm 99% sure that the problem occurred after the 1803 update.
 

I'm on Sonar platinum, and I actually wasted a lot of time redoing a recent overhaul with all my plugins and new custom list etc., because I restored a system image I had prior to this overhaul and it was all because my komplete kontrol would not function no matter what I tried, only to find out after it happened again was this(don't know which one) windows update broke it, this time I easily rolled back the update and it works again, I chose option on reason for rolling back is my programs (or whatever they gave as option) doesn't work with this update, I believe they will not force this update on you again if that option is checked.

WOW!!, this is a very tricky situation.
We are like falling between all the chairs.
 
Rolling back to a previous Win version can only be a temporary fix, unless one decides to disconnect the DAW computer from the internet.
I'm thinking about Windows security updates.
Will they be applied to a previous version?
 
Let's just hope that NI's devs will be concerned enough to work with Bandlab's devs to find the problem.
If we're lucky, the fix will be in the Komplete Kontrol software otherwise Sonar will be doomed for Komplete Kontrol users.

Hi Jazzy, yep, 1803. NI yesterday stated that it's a 3rd party issue...meaning I guess that it's lies squarely with Bandlab. 
I've sorted out the highjacking Maschine does by hitting Shift and Instance on the keyboard - I didn't know that. However, for quite some time, various Maschine expansions will drop a minor 3rd when working on them. I haven't tested this in Samplitude yet, but it always occurs for me in Sonar/Cakewalk. I'll play with say a bass melody line and at a random time, it'll drop by a 3rd, which I have to compensate for by lowering it down, or playing with the pitch. It doesn't matter too much for percussion but if I have a tuned kick, it can affect frequencies somewhat....but this is another story. 
 
So I guess in the meantime, K5 is the only recourse unless you'd rather work in other DAW's. I'm also not sure whether NI has made BandLab aware of the KK issue?

The MS 2018-07 cumulative update for 1803 fixed the problem.
 
The funny thing is that the update did not ask for a win restart so I launched CbB and saw that nothing has changed.
Just in case, I restarted Windows and CbB and pouff!! Komplete Kontrol is working properly.
