OK this one is still here. It may be the links I put in the other posts. I'll try one here and see what happens.

sometimes when posting a link sonar will flag it as spam and remove the whole post all together.
it happened to me a few days ago.

yep - if that happens, tell a host and we can restore them.  and it's best if we do because that makes Akismet learn that it was not spam.

Mystery solved then. Will report if it happens again. Thanks

Yup - the anti-spam blocker can get overly eager to protect us, and will fairly frequently delete posts that are in fact not really spam.

On RARE occasions, one of us forum hosts will see the indication that a spam post was deleted, and upon opening it, we may determine it was a legitimate post, and we will just go ahead and restore the post.

The WAY more likely thing is that these deleted posts will scroll off the page, due to new posts, and then some time later, someone realizes their post(s) have gone away.  There is NO mechanism in the spam fighting processing that notifies anyone directly that it has seen fit to delete something - so it is almost always ONLY when someone notifies us that they had one or more legitimate posts deleted as spam, that we can then go back and dig through and find/restore them.

It's just the way that spam fighting processing works.

SO - if you lose posts in the future due to anti-spam deletion, please send any of us hosts a Private Message to tell us - and we will recover the deleted posts as soon as we can.  In the event any forum user's post count isn't high enough yet to be allowed to send any private messages - then creating a thread asking for help recovering the deleted posts will end up with that thread being seen by a host and acted upon.  It's by no means perfect - but at this point in time, this is where it is at for spam deletion.

It looks like your two posts were successfully re-posted, looking through your thread.  If I am mistaken, and there are others you need recovered - please shoot a PM or respond to my post here, and we'll try to get you fixed up as soon as possible.  :)
