It will work in any Pro Channel other than the original X1. Also the CA2A is also in VST form so it can work in any VST hoat

PC modules are simply good ole VSTs, just size-limited by the PC width.  The standard PC modules (1176,SSL buss comp and EQ) don't come in VST flavors, tho.  The "available for sale" VST/PC effects come in both flavor, as do 3rd party PC modules (Softube/etc.).
 
Cake did some great programing on their PC tools.
