Upgraded to Windows 10 and liking it but I have a problem using my Wacom Intuos 1 in SPLAT for the right click.
Since the end of the last century I've used the Wacom pen and tablet as a mouse on the right hand and a real mouse on the left hand and developed a solid personal DAW style with this configuration.
The problem is the Wacom pen won't do a right click in SPLAT like it did under Windows 7. I've tinkered with the pen properties and tried alternate click assignments to get a right click but not happening. Pointing and selecting, selecting multiple tracks in SPLAT are normal - just the right click so I can't get into those menus (mostly in track view). Real mouse is same as it ever was and gets me the right click when I need it.
Other apps the pen right click is working normally like Sound Forge and file manger and around windows 10 in general.
Not the end of the world but annoying. The upside is it has driven me into learning new keystrokes.
Some trouble shooting actions and thoughts:
Yes the tablet is old tech and runs being installed in Win2000 compatibility mode and then changed to Vista compatibility to get the properties visible. I did uninstall all Wacom drivers and do a reinstall with this method and pen works same as it did and still not right clicking in SPLAT. Worked fine in Win 7.
I have seen this problem discussed in the drawing communities about general Wacom and Win10 incompatibility with specific apps. The issue seems to occur across the entire Wacom line.
On the political side Microsoft booted Wacom out of it's camp when they bought N-Trig and I know the innocent consumer can often be a helpless victim in the tech wars. I don't see a similar N-Trig product like the simple Wacom pen/tablet combo.
Just throwing it out here as it is just SPLAT that it isn't working 100% for me.
thanks
