have you checked your PC to make sure the preset folder is there ?
its uncommon but that's the only thing I can think of right now.

what folder are they in ?

and what kind of mouse are you using ? is it a Logitech ?
some of the Logitech mouses can cause problems with sonar and this being a hover over preset, it is a possibility.
I would check for presets first, make sure they are there (though even if not, im sure the folder would open unless the whole folder is gone)

did you install Sonar on default C:\ Drive ?

Yes, Im using a Logitech (never heard of this)
Yup, not seeing the folder.. How does that even happen.. How do I get it back?
and yes Sonar is on the C drive

not necessarily looking there, look in C:\Cakewalk Content\SONAR Platinum\ProChannel Presets
there should be a folder in this directory with all your PC presets.

if it IS there, just for giggles, exit the project, plug in another mouse, restart sonar, test it with a new mouse.

if you have not done so already, do a system re boot. = turn your pc off, wait 10 seconds, restart your pc.
sometimes corrupt data is held in RAM, this clears the ram and lets you start off fresh.

I know it seems tedious trying to figure out what is going on here,
but if you want your presets back, just hang in there and we'll get it working, just read my last post again.

1-reboot
2-look for PC presets folder
3- try a different mouse

FIXED!!
Thanks!
Turns out it was the mouse. I didn't have another mouse to switch out on it. The Logitech I was using was using a generic driver so I switched it to another Logitech driver just for kicks -restarted my computer and it all came back (in all views).

well Mr. Lopez, this was driving me bananas. so glad we got this working for you.
This was a first for me, I've never heard of this happening but I'll be honest, I've seen stranger things
I was almost ready to give up at one point .

This is one experience to put in my toolbox. I'm not sure I will see this happen too often but if it does,
you saved someone else the trouble of trying to figure out what the solution is.

Hope your back to making great music

Good Luck,
Chucky J
