Only 10 characters visible for a clip name???
No frames visible in the Original Time table???
In Sonor 8.5's Clip Properties, at one glance I can view 25 clip name characters and a complete Original Time.
I hope Cakewalk's fixes the width resize so that the width resize cursor that pops up actually does something.
You may not realize three things.
1. You can alter the column width. The vertical bar between the two columns can move to the left or right. This makes it easy to see frames.
2. If you can't see all of a field (e.g., a really long clip name), hovering the mouse over it shows the entire field.
3. The width resize cursor
does do something. When the Inspector is showing two strips side by side, you can use the width cursor to make the Inspector narrower, and show only one strip.
Because of the above, I don't think there's any need to be able to change the Inspector width. You would need the extra width only if you wanted to see long clip names at a glance, and the mouse hovering takes care of that without having to make the Inspector wider, then make it narrower to take up less space, then wider, etc.
