I think they should bring this back without using a registry hack.  That utility didn't work for and it should have but I kept a reg file from X1 and it worked.
 I have no clue why they took this out.  Many DAWs still have this feature.

Yea, why we need to hack a registry to get a simple functionality is beyond me.

Thanks Scook. After I cleaned my Sound Forge registry entry your tool worked great. Good job!
After checking the registry to see what your tool had done differently, I saw that I'd had an incomplete path. When I checked the SF program's file properties, it showed Location C:\........\Sound Forge Pro 11.0  but I still needed to finish the path with... \Forge110.exe.
I agree with KiteKrazy1, the change after X1 was unnecessary. Anything that requires fiddling with the registry is just so damned dangerous.
