Following on from an earlier issue of not being able to open Dimension Pro VST in Orion, (which is now fixed thankfully to this forum :)), I now am missing the multisample data for the following programs: 99 Vintage sound library, Digital Sound factory Classic Keys, DSF E-MU Proteus examples and Hollywood edge fx. I have had Dimension pro installed since Sonar 8.5 and now have Sonar X2. The program files are in the C/Program Data/Cakewalk/Dimension Pro/Programs but not in C/Program files/Cakewalk/Dimension Pro/multisamples. So somewhere between reinstalling dimension pro whilst trying to fix the previous issue I have lost these samples. I cant find them in my download folder or my order history. At some point I have definitely installed them as I have songs that were using some of those sounds (hence why I'm keen to find them again!) any idea where they might be from? I've reinstalled all the dimension pro installers. Any help would be appreciated.

The Additional Content DVD from SONAR 8.5 has the missing libraries you mention. The E-MU proteus examples are also available on the DSF website.

Hi Scook. Awesome! That's it! Thanks. Should install the other additional content from X1 and X2 then. Yay!

Thanks heaps.

X1 and X2 came with the basic DimPro v1.5 install and the 3 expansion packs. There were no extra files in the Additional Content disk that came with X1 or X2 related to DimPro. If you are running X2, skip the additional content that came with X1 but do install the X2 additional content.

I read that X2 PE comes with the Classic Keys Expansion Pack. I'm not seeing it anywhere. I saw mention of a folder 99 in the directory but mine only go up to 25. After that I have the 3 expansion packs and the bonus holiday pack.

I contacted support about this but I never got a response.

I do not believe the Classic Keys are included with X2. At least, it was not part of the X2 PE download. I know there were some classic keys content on the Additional Content disk with older version SONAR. When installed it is listed in DimPro under "99 - Vintage Sound Library." It may be included on the Addition Content disk when ordering the X2 physical media. For some time when X2 was released, those that ordered the physical medial also received an additional gift from Cakewalk that could have been a DSF expansion pack on disk. Is there a citation available concerning the inclusion of the Classic Keys Expansion Pack?

Sorry, I got it confused with the Vintage Keys when you mentioned folder 99 . I do have Classic Keys. It is different than the "99 - Vintage Sound Library" which most people ask about because it is not part of the standard DimPro distribution. In the DimPro Browser "Classic Keys" is listed below the number directories and the full name of the program directory is "Digital Sound Factory Classic Keys". The multisamples directory is called "Digital Sound Factory Keys". Can't tell you when it showed up, I have had DimPro for a long time. I definitely did not buy it separately and it is not a separate download in the store account.
