Hi,
Loved the Melodyne plug in that came with Sonar Platinum, so I upgraded to the full version.

On a vocal that has 4-5 notes in a row descending like a staircase, the transition between them now sounds a bit strange (artifact) since I tuned the notes. They are right next to each other.

I was wondering if anyone has come across this problem and what may be the best way to make it sound more natural as someone with an "ear" will hear this.

It looks like there's no "squiggly line" between the notes and I'm wondering if that's what the transition between notes may need to sound more natural, but if so, I still can't figure out how to make that happen.

Thanks.

I think you are referring to the pitch drift. Melodyne is very deep, and just moving notes to the correct location will not usually work. I would go to the Melodyne site, and learn about pitch drift. While your at it, take a look at the note separation tool. What I usually do before moving any notes around (unless there is something really off) is to use the pitch drift macro. Sometimes that is all you need to get the vocals sounding right.

Whatever you do, do it to a cloned track.  If you change your mind about an edit the next day, you can start over fresh.
