I am having a problem with Sonar X3 LE not connecting to my Zed 14. The mixer does not need drivers according to A&H. The mixer shows up on my recording devices on my PC, but not in SONAR. Please Help!!! 

My Zed 14 shows up as 'USB audio CODEC'. Hope this helps.

Perhaps you need to change the Driver Mode to something that the new mixer can operate with, and then it would show up as a device for you to select?

I've tried that, it's supposed to be on AISO, but it doesn't show up. All that shows up is my other innerface.

If the device drivers are installed, it should show up in SONAR under Preferences>Audio>Devices,
but it would be greyed out if a different interface is already in use.
 
You have to uncheck all inputs and outputs of the other interface, then click "ok" to adopt the changes, open Preferences again and change (check) the driver settings to the A&H interface drivers.

Klaus, unless the default behavior has changed within the past 2-3 releases, if the driver mode is something other than ASIO, then it will NOT display ASIO devices, so if you are trying to get your ASIO audio interface connected, you may well have to go change the Driver Mode to ASIO, and then click Apply, to get the ASIO drivers detected and enabled for selection as an audio interface.

The Allen And Heath Zed 14 claims "class compliant". That means it uses built-in Windows drivers. So set Sonar to WDM and choose "USB Audio Codec". No ASIO drivers are provided by the manufacturer for the Zed 14. But you could try ASIO4ALL to see if you are luckier than some.
