You should be fine, it only restores Windows files and the like.

As a heads up, I stopped using Windows System Restore with Sonar. Not like it didn't work, it was just kind of cumbersome and didn't include my data from Sonar. So I switched to using Rollback Rx. It's an alternative to WSR but works better when you're working on projects. So may want to give that a try.

Curious. What Sonar data was being lost?

Cheers and welcome to the forum.

It was actually moreso the configurations and windows sound data I had. More Windows then Sonar, but it definitely affected Sonar. I ended up having to repair the drivers.

Thanks for the welcome! Long time lurker :P

Unknowen
I really never trust a computer not to mess up…
I have never been able set or recover a restore point my Trash-Sheba (Toshiba) it crashes and start a new windows install without asking. We have 3 and one burned up, one never shuts down and mine…
Well getting side tracked… Ha! Really you always need to back up your CW projects and put them off system. I use USB and external hard drives… Saving as a CW Bundle (CWB File) puts all elements of a project into one tidy file.

peace! :)
