I made a post in the problem reports forum a couple of months ago about no longer being able to change the color of the VU Tick Marks in the color settings. The colors change if you're using segmented meters, but if you switch those off, you lose the ability to change the color. It was filed as CWBRN-5372 and I put that in the post. I went to find the post today, to add that the problem report hasn't been viewed yet, and my post was deleted. Seriously? Between the crop of bugs that have sprung up over the last three updates (for me), the elimination of phone support, and now this... I can't help but think back to the Roland days. Things were going so good. What is happening? If what I assume should be a simple fix isn't being looked at or worked on, then what does that say about the rest of the program? Seriously, why was my post deleted? Using the theme editor isn't an option since other elements change when you change the VU Tick Marks. Also, it breaks the full panel coloring in Mercury.
EDIT: Looking at the Problem Reports forum now, it seems that all posts over a month old have been deleted. I'm not comfortable with this. My issue is well over a month old. Doesn't exactly make me want to go to the trouble of using the problem reporter more if the issue isn't even looked at and my post gets deleted.
The newest issue that I'm encountering is Sonar taking out my Lynx ASIO drivers. I can work in other daws no problem, but at some point while working in Sonar, all sound quits and I get a screechy feedback anytime I try to play something. Rebooting doesn't fix it. I have to delete and reinstall the drivers. I know this is an issue for another post, but it's an example of the problems I'm now having with Sonar. The last time this happened, it was with Sonar 7 and the Lynx motor-boating issue that was fixed in 8. The same thing would happen. The system would motorboat, then I'd get the drivers going into screech mode. Now I'm not getting the motor-boating, just the drivers die and start the high pitched noise.
