I've tried this feature up to the current 2016.07 Sonar Platinum.
Bottom line is DELETE HOLE will not shift empty bars.
Example:
Select bar 34 - split everything
Select bar 37 - split everything
CTRL-A to select all - Bars 34-37, or three whole measures.
Run command: Delete or Cut Hole
Only tracks with data will shift which is USELESS.
With 50 tracks or more, at any given point I may have 20-50% of the tracks present with data.
The only way is to Select all the data and drag it, which is a mighty pain.
In the same manner, copy-insert bars is useless from my past experience, even where I split the bars where I'm pasting.
I have to create empty bars/tracks, then paste in the data.
Let's finally resolve this issue please!
