  • Is SPlat the only version of Sonar that allows for alternate themes?

The title says it all. I know that theme editor is only available with SPlat, but do the other versions allow for user-developed themes that others have done? Just wondering.

I would think themes are available to all versions. The editor is a Platinum exclusive. I looked up the 2016.05 release and all three were listed to have the tungsten theme.

Hi John. Thanks for the reply. You're probably right, but Tungsten is not a user-developed theme; it comes with the program. Remember, Tungsten doesn't reside in the SONAR Themes folder as do the user-developed themes. I'm specifically interested in user-developed themes for the other versions.

Yes, I have Sonar Artist and was able to load some user-developed themes with no problem.

Thanks for the  answer; much appreciated. So, it's just the development that's keyed to SPlat. Good to know

They don't seem to be advertising this feature (which is a shame IMO...). Also, sharing information with (non-SPlat users) on how to load the Splat user-developed themes would be a good idea to me...

It takes a lot of time and talent to create a theme (even just editing a default theme...). The creators who share their work freely, should have their work enjoyed by as many Sonar users as possible.

There are other ways to reward SPlat users with exclusive content and favored pricing.

Just my opinions...

outland144k,

You do good work! Thanks for your efforts! B)

You're very welcome and thanks for the compliment. And I agree with you, BTW: it would be good to let everyone know about this (I think....).

Maybe we could mark the title as SOLVED or reword it so people know.

thanks, all. was waiting on confirmation of this.

(and I assume that as goes Artist so goes Professional...)

looking forward to further developments, and trying out some themes eventually.
