I've tried looking for tutorials, and options but nothing. I can't get my Sterling Audio mic to work and record. It doesnbt eve pick up on Sonar. I'm using a M-Audio Fast Track Pro. None of the clip or signal lights are on. When I open up the M Audio driver, it says "The channel controls are disabled because the audio is streaming" not sure if this is part of the problem. Anyone can help? I'm a beginner.

Have you successfully recorded a guitar or something that's not you mic
with that setup?
 

You might have some streaming audio thing running on your computer, like YouTube or Soundcloud. If so, that could be taking exclusive control of your sound device.

Did you turn on the V48 Phantom power button?
