First time i'm using Nudge tool... Its seems to work well with Clips and its a big time saving function but
I cant figure it out how to "MOVE NOTES UP and Down" in the Staff View... !!! i can make them move Left-right but no up and down.. :( for example:  Move a C4 down to a B3...?
It is Possible?? or i'm missing something? Any help will be appreciated :)

In X3, you hover the cursor/draw tool over the note and when you click it, the cursor becomes a 4-way arrow. Then you can drag the note anywhere.
For future reference, please put you specs in your forum signature, such as what Cakewalk DAW you're using, what OS and is it 32- or 64-bit, and your sound card or audio interface.
That will help us help you If you have further questions; we won't have to ask you what they are every time you have a problem.
Good luck!

I rarely use Staff View, so I didn't know that nudging notes horizontally with the keyboard shortcuts (Num 1/4/7, Num 3/6/9) also work in SV. I've just checked the manual and the Nudge section doesn't mention anything about SV. It's unfortunate that Num 8/2 nudges notes to the previous/next track.

I'm probably missing some aspect of what you're asking, but the "up and down" is called transposing.

The Nudge feature is explained here:

It works in the Track view and the Piano Roll view perfectly (Edit: Well, not perfectly. There's a known bug).

well, in some music notation software it's easy to move notes up and down, highlight them, and move them up or down using the arrow keys. I am wondering if the nudge in sonar can do the same ( I can see that works well in a horizontal way)
