Sorry that I have not mentioned that before (I am not using ACT MIDI for long time). What you are looking for is
"ACT follows context" option (visible on your screenshot). Uncheck it.
EDIT: "AZ ACT Fix" (the second link) still make sense, it can save your nerves...
