In Splat (latest version) the scrolling timeline has disappeared and the volume automation lines now have dotted lines starting at project end and extending to infini8ty and beyond.

I think I hit a wierd combination of qwerty keys by accident and now have no clue waht it was...is the timeline linked to any hotkeys?

As for the envelope thing, totally clueless.

Oh and even though stop at Project End is selected it does not stop - I assume this is because of the envelope thing?

Thanks

Edit 2: This is only regarding envelopes.
Hi. Do you use the automation on the track where you have the dotted line? If not, open automation from the edit filter menu (red), and delete the envelope (green). This should take care of the problem.

Hope it helps.
All the best.
Yet another edit: You right click on the envelope to delete it.

You might have to go through the edit filter menu until you find something in bold.
Edit: My example was with volum.

thanks guys, but I actually have volume automation right across the tracks (with many variations) that I need to keep so I cannot delete the envelope at all, just need some way to bring the "end" time of the envelope bakc to the end of track data,.

And no ideas on the missing scrolling timeline?

Just hunt for the dotted automation line, then delete.
I am sorry to be of no help regarding the timeline.
Maybe check the manual for shortcuts?
All the best.

Try pushing the scroll lock on your computer keyboard for the time line problem.

Thanks John, but I just did a restart (for something else) and the timeline is now back!
