Just looking for opinions here. In the past I have occasionally used a regular compressor with side-chaining to automate the ducking, usually ducking under a vocal. It seems to me that the new side-chain for the MB compressor should be a better solution for ducking, as it would only duck the bands where the vocal is present. Does this seem correct? Does anybody have experience ducking with MB compressor? Any tips or things to watch out for?
