I think the changes to the Engineering Suite are superficial and of minor importance.  IOW, I don't think it would hurt to update, but if you can get the results you want from it now, you won't be troubled by waiting.  At least, that's the scuttlebutt I have heard around the coffee shop.  I don't know for SURE.  Maybe best to wait until the docs are available and see if the update will have any impact on your performance or stability.
 

The latest Engineering FX Suite version is 1.0.2.9 and should be shown in the CCC as 2016.07 (1.0.2.9). It's well worth updating, there have been significant improvements to the LP MB (like side-chaining!) and the LP EQ. Check out the eZine for details.

Yep, I have the 1.0.2.9 version you recommend. It's just that the CCC doesn't recognize it as the latest and therefore tells me I can upgrade to 1.0.2.5, which you've made clear isn't an upgrade at all. Thanks for the clarification, Craig!

Clicking "Check Now" on the Command Center settings page should fix the display. The early release period is over and 1.0.2.9 is now the current version. The Command Center checks for updates based on the setting to the left of the "Check Now" button. Chances are the Command Center was opened today before the official release. The "Check Now" button forces a check for updates.
 
The setting page is found by clicking the gear in the upper right of the Command Center UI.
 
 
Or wait until next month, when you check for updates.

Thanks, scook, your advice worked again! I had used the check now feature a couple of times earlier in the day but it didn't update the CCC display then...I guess it was just a bit too early. I can't wait to use these new tools!
