There's some good reading at the Plogue forum. I'm pretty ignorant of sfz, but my guess would be that it doesn't address portamento, chorus and reverb because MIDI CC's have already been designated for those functions (84 for portamento, 93 for chorus, 91 for reverb).

I've already tried CC84 for Portamento Control, putting it within a .sfz file in Notepad, but apparently, when I put the same Controller in a MIDI Track in Sonar, I don't hear any change. I put the following in the .sfz file.

label_cc84=portamento_control

Is there something I'm forgetting? Perhaps I'm not doing something quite right?
