If I make 1000 things that need fixes nobody want's to work with me!

Have you already made 1000 things which do not have to be fixed? And how complex was these "things"?

I think mixing and mastering the average album probably addresses about 1,000 things that need to be fixed

Hello people :)

Thanks for comments.

@bitman Yes I think that's true! :)

I began 1993. with Atari ST and Cubase 2.0 , 1996. I start to use PC Pentium and Cubase 3.0 < 4.5 until 2008.I use Pro Tools version 8 and later to end of 2014.  I started to use Sonar(Professional) now Platinum in January 2015.
I'm sure I was made some mistakes in recordings, mixing sometimes mastering and producing music from 1993. - 2016.

I'm not complaining about Sonar DAW.
I have some suggestions or something I think will help.
Sonar Platinum is great! Best DAW I ever use.

Mr. Anderton I'm glad you commented on my post.
Yes I use bouncing split mono and it's almost "one simple command" :) But there is 10 check-uncheck options 3-4 dropdown menus... OK I use it successfully!
I agree with you about work on any album. :)

I was revolted by emails from Cakewalk Marketing and my email to them was rejected.
I just open forum and post a thread - anywhere :)
Now I'm unsubscribed from Cakewalk Marketing newsletter.

This shows both transparency and commitment to truly improving the software, not just adding new plugins.  Those are two things you won't find in every company.  (I use the software almost every single day, and I would have no idea it had that many "bugs" I just don't run into them)

It also points out that you can get on board with this new model and not have to play for the next "versions" - few other DAWs are offering this either.

Is if fair to assume you did not update to Lifetime Updates yet?  If not, you might want to revisit the marketing.

Though if I got 3 marketing emails from Cake each week, I'd consider that aggressive also and would unsubscribe.

To be fair, I can see why they're proud of that milestone. SONAR had, shall we say, "fallen into disrepair" prior to Cakewalk's acquisition by Gibson. There are many people now working at Cakewalk who have been cleaning up messes not of their own making, and are taking fixes seriously. You can always make a case that the software should not have reached a state where it had all those problems, but it did...so I'm glad the current team has taken responsibility for "tightening down the screws."

WhitestudiobgWhy Sonar Platinum can't split stereo audio file(stereo channel) to left and right mono audio files(two mono left and right channels) with one simple command ?

Bounce to Tracks > specify "Split Mono."

Where is this Bounce to Tracks?
I can only find Split, Bounce to Clips and Convert to Mono.

The following solution was given me by a Brother of this Parish a while back, so clearly others have also stood before this same issue and scratched their heads.

Here's the steps I was given:
1. Select the track to be split
2. Go to Export Audio, choose Tracks and select the track you want to export (should already be selected).
3. Go to Channel Format and select Split Mono.
4. Export your two split files
5. Create two new tracks and open the two new split files in these tracks.

It works, but it's non-obvious.
