a couple of times when working on projects, I did something which made the multidock reset to the bottom of the main screen.  I couldn't get the multidock to drag to the second monitor.  there were no tabs visible on it.  now i've lost all of the tabs (windows) I had set up on the multidock, so I viewed the console and used it to set up a new multidock.  when you have maybe a dozen md windows laid out, it is quite a time waster.
is there a shortcut key that I hit to close the multidock?  I noticed that d will minimize/maximize the multidock.

and speaking of shortcut keys, I select a clip and hit the numlock keys to nudge the clip left or right, but it doesn't move.  am i missing something?

I was being serious. this has happened to me a few times.
I forgot to press the # lock on my keyboard after reboot.

I don't mind helping others but when others don't appreciate that help, that's where my help ends.
No worry's I wont be answering any more of your posts.

Good luck.

wasn't meaniing to be rude but i was hoping for a solution to a problem that's been bothering me for weeks now.
if you hit the numbers without the numlock on, you get some obvious shortcut actions...
i'm just frustrated because I DO make many "aw crap, that's why" and "that was stupid" mistakes and post only when I really need technical help.... so i do apologize.
