Hello, first post here.  Hopefully I'm not being too forward.

I have questions about the Dimension synth I received with my Project5.  Is it an LE, Pro or something else?  Also what expansion packs will it take?  I have the Dxi version and would like to upgrade it.  I'm sorry about all of the questions.  There is an expansion pack I'm really interested in and there is a time limit on it. 

The original Dimension that shipped with Project 5 predates DimPro and DimLE. It does qualify for upgrade pricing to DimPro http://www.store.cakewalk...ductid=10-CWDM1.50-30E

If I remember right it has about 1/2 the samples of DimPro, but is fully functional and editable.

Yes, it definitely has more than the smaller Dimension LE that I have from some other package as well.  The strings are really nice.  Are those the e-mu ones?  I'm interested in some more orchestral stuff and wouldn't mind the e-mu 2000 virtuoso that is on sale now if that is what those samples are.

If you like orchestra, the full Dimension Pro comes with Garritan Pocket Orchestra.

In addition to what everyone else has said, I would also add that it is DXi-only...there was not a VSTi version of the Project5 Dimension instrument.  It also uses different registry keys on the Windows platform for locating its content.
