I've travelled back in time by reading this forum from its first post forward. I'm currently only 3 pages in (79 to go) January '06.

Dimension Pro is just out and everyone loves it. Rapture is on the horizon and you guys are starting to speculate on its features.

Must have been a fun time ! I must admit that it's pretty fun to feel like I'm also there, if only in spirit. I'm learning tons of stuff that I couldn't get by reading recent posts.

I hope there's a Rapture update so you guys can get excited again :-)

Still excited by rapture - one of my go-to synths.  But nothing like a new paint job to draw the eye to an old favorite!  Right now trying to get the unversal sounds to unzip.  If you see any old threads while perusing, give a head's up, Paul.  I imagine a few people are downloading.

Pentagon is an interesting synth that can also be used as a vocoder. It is old, 32bit only and has a serious bug that can be avoided by altering the factory presets http://forum.cakewalk.com/fb.ashx?m=2708401 It also requires that you run your DAW as administrator. If I had a choice between some VA patches for Rapture or DimPro and Pentagon, I would get the VA patches.

I was never partial to Pentagon.  It sounded good, but Dimpro came out about the time I started using SONAR and DimPro and Rapt become the main synths - I never felt I needed Pentagon.
