Ok so virtual desktops in win 10 are great , they don't however let you split /spread a single program across multiple virtual desktops ! !!!

-If I open up FL studio or ableton as a rewire inside sonar platinum I can send the rewire program to virtual desktop 2 and have platinum on virtual desktop 1.

- if on virtual desktop 1 , I open 5 compressors and 5 gates , why can't I have these 10 plugins on a seperate virtual desktop 3 ? Rewire allows this how amazing would it be to have virtual desktops split up floating Windows inside a single program . For applications like daws it would be fantastic .

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS ANOTHER WAY TO DO THIS ?
Maybe a 3rd party virtual desktop program ?

There's a big Windows 10 update coming August 2nd (most commonly referred to as the "anniversary update"). I'd wait to see what that brings us before attempting any 3rd party solutions.

But you cannot have plugins on different desktops because they are child-windows within SONAR. They are framed into SONAR. The plugins are no indepented windows that can be moved to an other desktop. If you move a plugin to an other desktop, SONAR follows. Everything already tested.
