So.... Can that be used to change the FX on/off grey(s) to (an)other color(s) that users have requested for over a year?

To answer my own question, the answer to this is yes. Without getting into too much detail, the "TTSRES.dll" file (prior to the new theme release this drives the UI for each version installed) contains the following 3 PNG files (left tree directory using the app in the OP), which color the FX bin buttons - 13076, 13078, and 13084. The purpose of each png and colors of each file (left to right) are:

13076 - FX on/off state - 2 colors - left color = ON, right color =OFF
13078 - Interaction with the FX bin item when it is enabled - 3 colors - left color = hover power button, middle color = on click for the FX name (when opening the FX UI), right color = hovering over the FX name
13084 - Interaction with the FX bin item when it is disabled - 3 colors - left color = hover power button, middle color = on click for the FX name (when opening the FX UI), right color = hovering over the FX name

I set mine to ON = pastel green, OFF = light grey (which does not conflict with default text), and used those same colors in the left portion of 13078/13084 accordingly, i.e.:

13076 - pastel green, grey
13078 - grey (intending to turn ON->OFF), pastel yellow, pastel blue
13084 - pastel green (intending to turn OFF->ON), pastel yellow, pastel blue

Bear in mind that the TTSRES.dll file is deployed with SONAR during installations/updates, so any modifications you do to this will be overwritten, so back up your work!

[Yeah, I am a bit irate that users need to do this to be able to use a program they have paid for...]

Yeah, I noticed that too. But I don't think that it would be out of the pipeline though. I trust the bakers would have this as one of the top of the list items to deliver considering the huge response received for new theme possibilities. I suspect some delay from the original schedule for release was foreseen, but I sure hope its coming through soon considering "Tungsten" has been released setting the path. Till then, lets enjoy this one and its low-scale possibilities. Large scale options will have to wait for the full blown UI Theme Editor which I hope will show up as a separate module within Sonar

For now, how about a Fire-meter console

I observed that inside PNG folder of TTSImage.dll and TungstenTheme.thf, the same numbers are actually same targeted icon sets, strange that not all numbered items are present in both theme files though :|

It's not going to be released until Cakewalk is confident it will do what people want. That said, stay tuned...
