I had 8.5 Producer and X1 Producer on this Windows 7 PC from years back. I have upgraded now to Windows 10 but have not re-installed Cakewalk yet at all.
 
1 - I am eligible for the "lifetime upgrades for $199....Correct?
2 - Do I need to first install one of the older Producer versions on Windows 10 first before I purchase and install the current Lifetime version? In other words...Can I just purchase the $199 lifetime version and the download/install will proceed from that correctly?

You don't need any of your old versions of Sonar installed to install a new version.
Each new version is a fresh install.

The only reason to have an older version installed as well as a new one is if there is a particular synth/effect/etc. that's not on the new version and you still really want to use it.

In my account store shopping, I added the new version to cart at $199, just didn't complete the purchase all the way.
 
So does that look like it should purchase OK? Same as others experience?
 
Am I correct to assume the new lifetime Producer will then appear in my "My Products" list, which I then click on to download/install?

I must admit I thought the lifetime offer was only to those who currently own a copy of SONAR Platinum.
